CACFP Head Cook (Fulltime)
The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the printed menus, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff, deliver food on the serving line. Previous experience in a team environment and various cooking methods preferred.
CACFP/At-Risk Program Assistant Cook (Part-time/Fulltime)
The assistant cook's duties include preparing food, washing and cleaning the dishes, the kitchen, and dining hall area. The assistant cook will also help with preparing ingredients for foods, snacks, receiving orders, keeping count sheets, and maintaining the kitchen inventory and storing supplies.
SFSP Site Supervisor (Part-time)
The site supervisor's duties include attending sponsor's training, provide supervision of structured activities, supervise with trained staff, distribution of meals, complete and keep daily records of meals received, served and stored; provide appropriate, secure refrigeration and storage areas according to the standards prescribed the MS Health authorities; and keeping the site clean and sanitary.
Teacher/Elementary Teacher (Fulltime)
The elementary teacher is expected to teach and help students in grades K-5th grade learn required subject matter and skills that will contribute to their academic development and train students in biblical principles set forward by the school board to ensure every child is well versed in their spiritual walk. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have the knowledge and skills required to teach grade K-5th grade students.
Preschool/Pre-K Teacher (Part-time/Fulltime)
The preschool teacher must be passionate, committed and caring and willing to inspire curiosity and wonder in a safe and secure learning environment. Provide overall responsibility for the supervision and daily class functions of a class of children. Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the New Vineyard School curriculum outlines and materials. Form and maintain positive and communicative partnerships with parents.
The custodian will provide students, staff, and guests with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop. Keep building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways and play areas, neat and clean at all times. Keep floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation. Replenish classroom and restroom supplies for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities for daily use. Must be dependable, in person attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position; and perform such other and not specifically enumerated duties as may be requested by the board.
